Click that and you will get a list of preferences on the left side. Click the one that says "My Avatar." From there you will be able to hot link an avatar or load one from your machine. Make sure the avatar is no more than 200 pixels wide. 150 pixels is recommended. If you need an image resized post it and we will resize it for you and add it as your avatar.. New domain, new design, new software, more features. The new domain will be www.lakepirates.com. It is now lakepirateforums.com. The actual forums are currently located at lakepirateforums.com/ForumsPro. The new location will be lakepirates.com/forums. It is a given there will be problems during a migration of this magnitude. It is possible some avatars will be lost, some passwords will not work, signatures may be lost, paid memberships may not work? There are always issues. The total migration will take all weekend. During this period we will have a forum at the very top of the forums index with anonymous posting activated so you can alert us to any issues you may be having even if you cannot log in. We will take care of all issues on a first come, first serve basis. Please be assured we are here for you and paid memberships will receive added days for any downtime they experience. We will also have "live chat" enabled so you can discuss any issues with moderators available to to you during the migration period. The move is well worth the trouble. You will have an easy to understand interface. You will be able to post multiple images. You will be able to have private conversations exactly like a thread from your pm module. You will have clickable thumbnails for pics. You will have a flash gallery. You will have chat and a shoutbox so you can set up meetings and events with other members. You will be able to shut off sideblocks, and avatars. You will be able to upload multiple images at a time to galleries and set permissions so that only members you want seeing your pics can see them. Images will align left eliminating scroll. You will be able to create and manage your own blogs and have them independent of the site, or make them a part of the site.
